Delete Your Account and Data

We respect your right to control your data. This page explains how any user of the Amlaki Real Estate app (real-estate office, property owner or tenant) can delete their account and the personal data linked to it, what is deleted, and what may be kept for a limited time for legal reasons.

1. Delete your account in the app

• If the account has no active leases, unpaid installments or active staff, it is deleted immediately.
• Otherwise the account is closed immediately: you are signed out and can no longer sign in. Your personal data is then deleted automatically as soon as those leases, installments and staff are settled, and our support team follows up on every open request within 30 days.

2. Request deletion by email

If you can no longer use the app, email us from the email address registered on your account:

Please include the following so we can verify your identity:

• Your full name as registered on the account.
• The mobile number or email address registered on the account.
• The subject line: “Account deletion request”.

We may contact you to confirm your identity before deleting the account, to protect it.

3. What is deleted

• Your name, email address and mobile number.
• Your national ID or iqama number and other identifying details.
• Addresses, bank details (IBAN and bank name) and other personal details linked to the account.
• Uploaded ID document images and your profile photo.
• Your sign-in credentials, account preferences and push notification token.

4. What may be kept, and for how long

• Financial and accounting records (contracts, payments, receipts and tax records) recorded with a real-estate office stay with that office, without your personal data, for as long as Saudi accounting and tax regulations require.
• Records required by a legal order from a competent authority are kept only for the period that order requires.

Kept records are used only to meet these legal obligations and are never shared with third parties for marketing.

6. Note for real-estate office accounts

Deleting an office administrator account deletes your own personal data. Records you entered about other people (owners, tenants and their contracts) remain subject to your legal obligations to them. You can export them from the app before deleting, or contact us for help.
